XTEX CAN HELP YOU, FROM CONCEPT TO PRODUCTION, TO CREATE A FULLY BESPOKE SOLUTION PERFECTLY TAILORED TO YOUR NEEDS
Xtex Polythene Ltd and its sister company BGM Plastics Ltd are leading UK manufacturers of all types of polythene packaging. Thanks to over 40 years of experience we are able to offer a bespoke service that ensures we can meet and exceed the needs of all our customers.
Our products range from small, plain bags to large mattress bags, furniture covers, industrial films and fully bespoke products. With free delivery to anywhere within the mainland UK and direct from the manufacturer prices, there's never been a better time to look at your polythene needs.
But why polythene? Polythene is a great, cost effective way to protect, transport and deliver your products. The very nature of polythene is it's flexibility so where your need a small custom carrier bag or a large roll of polythene for packing on the go we can create the right solution for you. Our printed and biodegradable polythene bags also offer a great opportunity to ensure that your brand and your business name is remembered and projected once your customer has left your establishment. From shoppers walking down the street with your logo in their hand for all to see, to a carrier bag pulled out of a cupboard 3 months later with a crisp, clear logo on it reminding them of who and where you are.
Our cost effective polythene bags can be created in a whole range of different colours, from transparent through to gold, all of which can then be printed on to ensure that they are on brand and in keeping with your business.
The environmental impact of polythene is often misunderstood. It is the most lightweight and durable material capable of properly protecting the goods that your consumers need. Without it, the damage to our environment from unnecessary spoilage and waste would be far worse. And we take every step possible to ensure that throughout our whole manufacturing and delivery process we remain as green as possible and minimise waste at every opportunity.
Off cuts, waste polythene and samples that are created during our manufacturing process are all saved and put to a second use. Where possible melted, cleaned and used for more polythene packaging and carrier bags at a later date. Where this isn't possible it's instead used for packing and has many other uses around our factories and offices.
The primary raw material of polythene is made from naphtha gas, one of a number of by-products produced from the petroleum refinery process when distilling crude oil and whilst, in the past it has been criticised for not being biodegradable and disposed of in land fill sites across the world, recent advances in technology have allowed the creation and production of biodegradable polythene.
